Crunchy Peanut Butter

Named the “best peanut butter in the country” by New York Magazine, our Crunchy Peanut Butter is the crunchiest peanut butter on the planet! How do we know? Because it’s the first to combine the incomparable crunch of Hubs Peanuts’ Virginia XL peanuts with the scrumptious roastiness and smooth texture of our directly sourced High Oleic Cordoban Runner peanuts.

Growers Spotlight

Hubs Peanuts
Sedley, VA

Elisha Barnes

Elisha is a fourth generation peanut farmer. He still shocks and raises peanuts the old fashioned way to preserve the history and culture of the past. His wildly popular Single Origin peanuts are now grown at Izzie's Field, which is the state's first Farm to Foodbank project. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these peanuts go directly to our local Foodbank. Our Single Origin peanuts won Garden and Gun's Made in the South's Sustainability Award.

"Tilling the soil, it teaches a spiritual lesson. Do your part, invest in the land, and the land will give you an increase." Elisha Barnes

Richard Kitchen

Richard is a fourth generation peanut farmer in Southampton County, Virginia. He grew up on his family farm, Plank Road Farms, and joined the business right out of college. Peanuts are one of his favorite crops to grow because he loves seeing how people from all over the country enjoy a product that we take pride in growing in southeast Virginia.

Wesley Barnes

Wesley farms 1300 acres on Roundhill Farms in Sedley, Virginia a few miles from the Hubs "home"quarters. He enjoys raising peanuts because they are one of his favorite snacks and our sandy soil is ideal for growing Virginia type peanuts.

"It's very rewarding to be a Virginia peanut farmer. Our soil type is ideal and Virginia type peanuts are the best variety you can buy!" - Wesley Barnes
