Shipping Rates

Each item in our brochure has been designated with a shipping code from A through D. From the table at right, find the appropriate state to which the item will be shipped, choose the appropriate code for the item(s) you wish to order, and then add the corresponding shipping charge to each item. When ordering five or more cases shipped to one destination, please call for savings. Also, please note discount tiers on volumes of 50 units or more.

Due to escalating fuel prices, Hubbard Peanut Company reserves the right to add a shipping surcharge to prices below. If this becomes necessary, we promise to notify you in advance of accepting an order.

Business Hours: Call or visit Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm EST to place your order. We have extended hours during the holiday season, but if we are unavailable at any time, you may leave a message on our answering service and we will return your call no later than the next business day.

Credit Cards: We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Your account will be charged upon receipt of your order.

Order by Mail: Personal checks and money orders made payable to Hubbard Peanut Company are suitable forms of payment.

Gift Message: Your gift messages will be included on our complimentary gift card.

Order Early for Discounts: For standard orders received by phone, mail or fax no later than December 1, the following discounts will apply: 50 to 99 units - 3% / 100-499 units - 5% / 500 to 999 units - 10% / 1000 + units - 15%

Sales Tax: Virginia law requires Virginia residents to pay 2 ½ % sales tax on the total order. Out-of-State residents must pay 2 ½ % sales tax only on the total for items shipped to the state of Virginia.

Check Your Addresses Carefully: Delivery is guaranteed within the continental USA when addresses are complete and current. FedEx now requires street numbers (including apartment, suite, or floor numbers when applicable) for delivery and charges $6.00 per package for address corrections. If a proper FedEx address is not available, orders will be shipped via Parcel Post. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, fresh peanuts will be reshipped upon receipt of a corrected address for the cost of reshipping plus any additional charges incurred.

Arrival Date: Please indicate an arrival date for each shipping destination. If an arrival date is not specified your order will be shipped within 2-3 business days.

Duplicates: We cannot be responsible for duplicate orders. Our order operations are separated into phone, internet and mail segments and are handled by many different operators; therefore, based on the number of orders we receive, it is impossible to identify duplicate orders.

Product Shelf Life: You will probably be tempted to eat your HUBS right away, but if you must save them for a while they will remain fresh in the vacuum-sealed tin for eight to twelve months. Once opened, peanuts should be refrigerated or frozen to maintain the ultimate freshness.

Product Variables: Peanuts are an agricultural product. Each crop varies according to growing conditions. We will guarantee, however, that the peanuts we select to process are of the highest possible quality available. Hubs peanuts are freshly processed and have gone through careful inspection before they are shipped from our plant to you or your friends. If you are not satisfied with an item shipped directly from us, please call customer service as soon as possible at 1-800-889-7688 (PNUT). To assist in our quality control efforts we request that the item be returned with a note of explanation within ten days of delivery, but we will be happy to reship any returned item or refund the purchaser upon receipt.
